On September 15th, the twelve members of Team ProEx crossed the finish line at Hampton Beach State Park after running 200 miles in just over 24 hours in the Reach the Beach relay challenge. Those members included Dan and Michele Thomas, Eric and Wendy Kopp, Jess McManus, Brian Ashworth, Sarah Keyser, Erica Compagnone, Annette Denise, Karen Regan, Brooke Knickles, and Oliver Frates.
The race, which is the longest distance running relay race in the United States, began on Friday, September 14th, in Franconia, NH, continued through the White Mountains and finished in Hampton, NH the following day.
The ProEx tent was set up at the finish line and equipped with 6 treatment tables where 9 clinicians worked tirelessly on the continous flow of runners interested in a well-deserved stretch or an orthopedic evaluation.
“We were excited to be a part of Reach the Beach again this year,” said Joe Dattilo, PT and Regional Clinical Director of the Southern NH region at ProEx. “I'm proud of the staff members who ran the race as well as those who volunteered their time to work the event.”
