Professional Physical Therapy Scores a Perfect 10

4/2/2018

Professional Physical Therapy, a leading, private, outpatient physical therapy provider in the Northeast, is pleased to announce the addition of ten locations in Massachusetts through its acquisition of Teamwork Physical Therapy, and the opening of new state-of-the-art clinics in Newton and Allston.

The Newton clinic is now open, and is located at 19 Needham Street, Suite 201. The Allston clinic, opening on April 23rd, is located at 1300 Soldiers Field Road. Both locations are within the Greater Boston area, and are easily accessible via the Mass Pike and other major highways, as well as public transportation.

As Clinical Directors, Nicole Lawson DPT, OCS, and David Watson DPT will bring their knowledge and passionate care to the new Newton and Allston locations, respectively. Both Lawson and Watson are experienced clinicians, members of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and fully committed to providing exceptional patient care to their new communities. Previously, Lawson and Watson treated patients at Professional’s Waltham and Arlington facilities, currently operating as ProEx Physical Therapy.

Mike Mulrenan, President of ProEx Physical Therapy, an affiliate of Professional Physical Therapy, said, “I’ve had the pleasure of working with both Lawson and Watson in their former roles, and I’m thrilled to see them bring their expertise and outstanding leadership qualities into Newton and Allston.” Mulrenan adds, “As we continue our growth in New England, our promise to provide exceptional and personalized service to all new and existing patients remains the same, and we look forward to becoming an active member of these wonderful and vibrant neighborhoods.”

In addition to the new clinic locations, Professional is proud to welcome Teamwork Physical Therapy, with locations in Dartmouth, Marion, Marshfield, Medway, Middleboro, Plymouth, Quincy, and Taunton, Massachusetts.

At Teamwork, we strongly believe that success and positive outcomes are achieved when individuals are backed by a great team. In selecting a partner, it was quickly evident that Professional was the best teammate, and we’re confident that our shared values and dedication to providing consistency in care will truly benefit our patients,” said Al Audette, former owner of Teamwork Physical Therapy. “Additionally, our staff will see additional opportunities for professional growth.”

The opening of these two new clinics, coupled with the acquisition of Teamwork Physical Therapy, further expands Professional Physical Therapy’s ability to provide convenient access to even more communities across 38 locations in Massachusetts.

Professional Physical Therapy currently operates as ProEx Physical Therapy in twenty-six New England locations. Together, they treat patients from a total of 175 clinics throughout Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Connecticut, New York and New Jersey. Through constant communication among clinicians and secure electronic recordkeeping, patients can receive and maintain the same treatment plan from multiple Professional or ProEx clinics.
