ProEx Springfield staff promoted the physical therapy profession at the West Springfield Middle School's Career Fair on Thursday, April 14th. At their booth, they performed strength testing, grip testing and balance assessments/challenges on 8th graders. The purpose of the career fair was to get the kids thinking of career choice and colleges early on in order to help reduce high school drop out rates.
“We were excited to be part of the West Springfield Career Fair," said Colleen Calvanese, a staff physical therapist in the ProEx Springfield office. "We were very well received, and it was a great way to promote the profession of physical therapy. We look forward to presenting for many years to come.”
