BOSTON, MA ISSUED NOVEMBER 22, 2016…ProEx, a physical therapist owned private practice specializing in orthopedics, spine and sports medicine is pleased to announce that Jess Barsotti, Gino Compagnone, Dave Melchiorri, Dan Sieczkiewicz, and Jessica McManus were recently “pinned” as a Fellow in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists following completion of their Fellowship Training through Boston University.

ProEx staff members earn the designation by completing the one year fellowship training program designed to develop expert practitioners in orthopaedic manual physical therapy and to further prepare them to serve as direct access providers in the outpatient orthopaedic setting.

The Fellowship Program is provided through Boston University’s College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences: Sargent College.  The program is a combination of skilled training and clinical mentoring; much of the skilled training is provided in BU’s newly renovated laboratory utilizing the most recent technology to optimize the learning environment.  ProEx is recognized for its clinical education programs and stands alone within the industry by offering a systematic clinical training program that culminates with fellowship level training for all its qualified physical therapists.

“Physical therapy has gained acceptance as a cost-effective option for treatment in the orthopedic sector of health care,” said Mike Mulrenan, CEO of ProEx Physical Therapy, extending congratulations to all for completing the fellowship program. “We are on the cutting edge as direct access providers by delivering physical therapy services that achieve optimal clinical outcomes at the lowest cost.”
