ProEx Gears up for Two Road Races to Benefit Children and a Walk for Arthritis

AIC Run for Education

ProEx is thrilled to team up with American International College (AIC) and the K-12 Teacher's Alliance once again for the 2nd Annual Run for Education, a 5k road race that highlights the importance of K-12 educators. This year's event, being held on Sunday, April 28th, will have participants racing along Springfield's State Street corridor from the Federal Courthouse to AIC's track facility.

The ProEx tent will be equipped with treatment tables and licensed physical therapists who will be available to provide pre and post race stretches as well as answer questions participants may have on orthopedic issues.

Kick in for Kids

ProEx is excited to participate in the 4th Annual Kick in For Kids 4.2 mile road race and health walk taking place on Sunday, May 5th at Library Park in Woburn. Hundreds of runners and walkers are expected to attend this popular race, hosted by the Boys and Girls Club of Woburn. 

The ProEx tent will be situated near the finish line where physical therapists and athletic trainers will be on site to provide pre and post stretching for runners as well as answer questions participants may have on sports related injuries.

Greater Hartford Arthritis Walk

This event, hosted by the Arthritis Foundation, will help raise money and awareness to fight the nation’s leading cause of disability and help prevent and treat this serious and painful disease through research, education and community programs. The walk will take place on Sunday, May 5th at University of Saint Joseph in West Hartford, CT and will feature a 3-mile and 1-mile course, with activities for the entire family.

ProEx physical therapists will be on hand for pre and post walk stretches and to answer questions participants may have on orthopedic issues.
