Matt McManus, PT and Regional Clinical Director at ProEx, recently attended the 2014 APTA State Policy & Payment Forum in Seattle, WA. At the conference, they discussed current topics connected to physical therapy on both national and state levels. Those topics included health care reform and the Affordable Care Act, Alternative Payment Models, Professional Integrity, Advocacy, Preventing Fraud/Waste/Abuse within the healthcare system, and Dry Needling. They also received several updates on current pending legislation at state levels.
