Eric Kopp, Physical Therapist and Director of Clinical Education at ProEx, was one of roughly thirty presenters at the prestigious Boston Shoulder and Sports Symposium held at the Waltham Woods Conference Center in Waltham, MA on October 29th and 30th. Eric presented on two lectures; the first "Exercise as Pain Treatment - the Biopsychosocial Model" and the second "Ruling out Cervical Pathology in Shoulder Patients". Both lectures were very well received by the hundreds of physicians and healthcare providers in attendance. In fact, Kevin Wilk, DPT, one of the most recognizable names in the Physical Therapy profession, acknowledged Eric's talk on the Biopsychosocial Model in his own lecture later in the afternoon.
In its 15th year, the Boston Shoulder and Sports Symposium's objective is to provide physicians, physical therapists and other healthcare providers a unique opportunity to enhance their knowledge and skills in the surgical management and rehabilitation of sports medicine injuries. The Boston Shoulder and Sports Symposium is sponsored by New England Baptist Hospital.
