Gino received his Bachelors of Science in Exercise Physiology from the University of Massachusetts-Lowell in 2002 and then his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Massachusetts-Lowell in 2005. Since joining ProEx Physical Therapy in 2007, Gino has and continues to treat patients predominantly out of the Epping, NH office. In his current role as Director of Operations, Gino oversees the day to day clinical operations of all ProEx clinics. In 2008, he completed a one-year post-graduate program at the Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy, focusing on advanced orthopaedic manual skills, before completing a manual therapy fellowship through Boston University in 2016 to become a full fellow in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists. Gino is a current member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Physical Therapists, and has been invited to present at APTA conferences in 2005 and 2016.
Karen earned her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from Nazareth College of Rochester NY in 2003. Karen has since completed a two-year post-graduate residency program through the Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy focusing on advanced orthopedic manual skills and in 2009 became a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists (FAAMOPT). In 2005 Karen joined ProEx and in 2010 became a Clinic Director. She has overseen the opening of four ProEx offices, most recently the new Billerica MA location which she now calls home. Karen utilizes a combination of manual therapy, exercise and education with each patient to get her patients moving in the right direction.
Chris is a physical therapist at the Woburn and Billerica locations. He received a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from Ursinus College, and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the MGH Institute of Health Professions. Originally from Newtown, Pennsylvania, he now lives in Boston. In his spare time, Chris enjoys reading, cooking, hiking, and spending time outdoors.
Renee Lucia of Andover, Massachusetts received her Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training at Endicott College and her Masters of Exercise and Sports Science from Merrimack College. Prior to joining ProEX, Renee worked as a Graduate Assistant at Merrimack College, overseeing the Football and Softball team. She has much experience volunteering with PT’s and OT’s on horseback for young children, and enjoys riding horses and exercising in her free time.
Karen graduated with a Pre-Physical Therapy degree in 2010 from Pensacola Christian College in Florida. She then went on to obtain her Corrective Exercise Specialist and Personal Training certifications. Karen has enjoyed working with rehab clients with orthopedic issues and muscle imbalances for the past two years. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, biking, running and overall leading an active lifestyle. Her future goal is to pursue her Physical Therapy degree.
