Abigail White, DPT, CSCS,
Physical Therapist

Abigail White joined the Legacy Physical Therapy team in 2014.  Her approach emphasizes the identification of the severity of injury and/or disease process, individual functional limitations, and understanding the impact this has on one’s daily activities, work, recreation, and sport endeavors.    Abigail has treated diverse patients including: youth to high school gymnasts, athletes, weekend warriors, teachers, office workers, manual laborers, grandparents, and more.  Her clinical experiences include acute rehabilitation at University of Illinois Chicago Medical Center, long term acute care at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital, and outpatient orthopedic and sports physical therapy.  Her personal experiences with her own injuries inform her of the difficulties on the road to recovery.

With a history of athletic pursuits in field hockey, track, softball, and recreational sport, Abigail is a fitness enthusiast.  When not in the clinic you may find her at the gym performing her own rehabilitation maintenance program.  She also enjoys yoga, running, biking and being outside in the summertime for as long as the New England weather allows.

Abigail received her DPT (Doctorate of Physical Therapy) from the University of Massachusetts Lowell and prior received a degree in Kinesiology (Exercise Science) from the University of New Hampshire.  She is a member of the APTA (American Physical Therapy Association) since 2011.
