Michael received his degree in physical therapy from Quinnipiac College in 1983. He then earned an Advanced Masters Degree in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy in 1994 and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) in 2002 from the Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions. Michael was involved in several research projects while at the MGH Institute of Health Professions, especially that of the treatment of “frozen shoulder”. Michael became recognized by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties in 1993 as a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy (OCS) and renewed his Board Certification in 2013. Michael was a District Assembly Representative of the American Physical Therapy Association of Massachusetts from 1995 – 1998 and was the Southeastern District Chief Assembly Representative in 1998. He also served on the APTA of MA Executive Board of Directors. Michael was adjunct faculty at Northeastern University School of Physical Therapy from 1992-1993 where he taught Advanced Musculoskeletal Evaluation and Treatment. He has been a speaker at numerous local groups and organizations during his years of clinical practice. Michael and his wife Eileen Cullen Weber, PT opened Physical Therapy In Motion (PTIM) from 2008-2017. Outside of his professional responsibilities Michael enjoys playing ice hockey and golf, as well as attending college and professional sporting events. Michael and Eileen enjoy spending time with their children and grandchildren.
Kristen Wentworth is a PT, DPT, FAAOMPT, and the Worker’s Compensation Coordinator. She grew up in Hampden, MA but now lives on the Cape and works in South Yarmouth. Kristen went to Minnechaug Regional High School in Wilbraham. She went on to Boston University for both her undergraduate and graduate school degrees receiving her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from BU in 2008 and also completed her Fellowship in Orthopedic Manual Therapy with Boston University in 2017. When Kristen isn’t at the clinic her hobbies include Running, Triathlons, Biking, Boating, and spending time with family. One fun fact about Kristen is that she is a certified scuba diver and has an Olde English Bulldog Molly. Kristen’s biggest accomplishment has been developing and training a marathon relay team for individuals with spinal cord injury who completed the Kentucky Derby Marathon in 2012 as part of the Christopher and Dana Reeve Neurorecovery Network. In the future, Kristen sees herself working on program development, management, progressing with education and teaching. Her favorite thing about working for ProEx is the team approach and the dedicated heart at the core of the company. She also can’t help but love that her husband also works for ProEx!
Donna Vachon, PTA brings 20+ years of orthopedic experience to ProEX Physical Therapy. A 1989 graduate of Becker College, she has continued to advance her knowledge and clinical skill attending numerous continuing education seminars on topics such as osteoporosis, foot biomechanics, kinesio taping, functional and balance exercise. Her vast experience and clinical education makes Donna a most valuable asset to our clinic in the treatment of people of all ages. Donna is a regular provider of informative educational programs to local community groups and organizations. She also coaches youth soccer. Born and raised in Cape Cod, Donna feels a strong tie to the community and brings the utmost professionalism and care to her patients.
