ProEx Treatment Philosophy
Communication is the most important aspect of a successful treatment program. Effective communication starts with being an active listener and understanding a patient’s individual physical, social, work, and emotional needs.
Findings from the physical therapy evaluation and the recommended plan-of-care that takes into account the patient’s lifestyle will be explained clearly to patients and their families, when appropriate. We take every opportunity to educate our patients in a way that is easily understood, so he or she will be informed, involved, and empowered throughout the entire treatment process.
We are driven as a company to provide the best possible clinical outcomes for our patients. We also recognize that every patient requires individualized clinical treatments, such as: “hands-on techniques”, “exercise therapy”, or a combination of both, in order to achieve optimum results.
Our licensed physical therapists receive an extensive advanced clinical training program that includes skills development in three major areas: Communication, hands-on Manual Therapy (MT) and Medical Exercise Therapy (MET) for exercise prescription. Most importantly, every ProEx physical therapist is trained on how to effectively manage the care of our patients through strong clinical reasoning and being a patient advocate.
